Every summer, kids ages 3 years to 9th grade come from all over Compton to dance, sing, draw, paint and have fun attending our FREE week-long Art camps. All supplies and materials are provided, including a meal each day. The program is designed to empower and expose students’ to critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem solving through the arts.

FOR 3yrs* - 9th graders
(3 year olds must be potty-trained and able to hang with the kids without a parent present)

Hands-On Learning + Mural Design + Guest Artists & Speakers Conversations about Social Justice & Civic Engagement
In partnership with Compton District 2 Councilperson, Andre Spicer, the Compton Mural Project will take a cohort of 25 youth, grades 7-12th, through a process of learning about Compton history, the importance of civic engagement, what social justice can look like, mural design, safety and conversation. Students will work directly with a local artist to design to paint a mural in the community.
